In 2022, the Canterbury Civil Defence Emergency Management (CDEM) Group set about updating the Group Plan. This is the defining document that sets out how the CDEM Group operates across the 4Rs - Risk reduction, Readiness, Response, and Recovery. At the end of March 2023, after experiencing some delays due to supporting the North Island floods, we are pleased to publish the Canterbury CDEM Group Plan adopted August 2022.
